This is the ultimate book if you want to learn about oil. Currently the best starting point to dive in. It covers a wide range of topics from the molecule 🔬to macro geological challenge.
A great point is the accessibility of the book, you don’t need to be super educated 🤓on the subjects to understand them fully. The structure is also impeccable with a comprehensible top-down approach.
Published in 2009, this book is a bit outdated (especially the fracking 🤠part) nevertheless a must to read. Funny enough, it was published during an oil bear market….🐻
